Kuwait · opening soon
Finding a flat in Kuwait means six messages, two replies, and one flat that still exists. Shaqqah lists only what a person has checked, shows the full cost before you message anyone, and says upfront whether you can register your Civil ID.
Free for everyone. No commission from the renter, none from the landlord.

What you are used to
Nobody who has hunted for a flat in Kuwait needs this explained. It is the same four Fridays every time.
It was rented three weeks ago
Nobody took the advert down, because nobody was ever asked to.
The photos are of a nicer flat
The same four pictures are on three other listings, in two other areas.
The price grows when you call
Then comes the deposit, the commission, and a maintenance fee nobody mentioned.
It is a curtain, not a flat
The advert said apartment. It is a partition across somebody else’s living room.
What we do instead
Any listing site can promise quality. These are the four things we actually do, and the reason we will always have fewer listings than the portals.

A person reads every listing
Not a filter and not a model. A person, before it appears at all, and most are done inside two hours.
We stand inside the flat
A photo proves an address exists. It cannot prove the flat is whole rather than partitioned. Only being there can. The green badge carries the date we went.
The cost is a field, not a sentence
Rent, deposit, electricity, water, internet and commission are separate required fields. You see the real number to move in before you message anyone.
Whole flats only
No partitions, no bed spaces, no shared rooms. Saying otherwise costs the lister their account, not just the listing.
The part nobody else does
Checking a flat the day it is posted is the easy half. A month later that same listing is the one wasting your Friday. So we go back and ask. No answer, and it comes down on its own.
Day 0
Posted and checked
A person reviews it. Some we visit and photograph ourselves.
Day 30
We ask
One message to the lister. Is this flat still available?
Day 33
It stays, or it goes
Answered, it stays up. Silence, and it comes down by itself.
The difference between a listing that was true once, and one that is true today.
The question that decides everything
Your residency depends on it, and it is the single most common reason a viewing ends in nothing. You drive across Kuwait, you like the flat, and then the answer is no. No portal here asks the question. On Shaqqah every listing has to answer it before it goes up, you can filter by it, and a lister who gets it wrong loses their account.
Every listing carries one of these three. None of them is left blank.

How it works
Four steps, and you can do the first three from the sofa. The whole product is in English and Arabic, listings included.
Say what you need
Type it, speak it, or just set the filters. Area, budget, bedrooms, and whether you need to register your Civil ID.
See the flat, and who is letting it
Every photo, the facts, whether Civil ID registration is allowed, and the date our team stood inside it.
See exactly what it costs
Rent, deposit, electricity, water, internet and commission, each its own line, and the real number to move in.
Message, then go and stand in it
Type or send a voice note without giving out your number. Then meet at the flat. Never pay before you have been inside.

Filter by area, budget and Civil ID, or just ask.

The green band carries the date we stood inside it.

Every line, and the real number to move in.
Get it when it opens
If you have a flat
Or do not type at all. Whichever way you post, a person checks it and it costs you nothing.
Post it yourself
Nine short questions, one per screen. The photographs are taken inside the app, so the flat in the picture is the flat you are listing.
Send a voice note instead
Tell us about the flat on WhatsApp and our team builds the listing, then rings you to confirm it. Many of the people who look after buildings in Kuwait would rather talk than type, and that is entirely fine.
We never ask a lister for money. Listing is free, verification visits are free, and there is no commission on either side. If anyone says they are from Shaqqah and asks you to pay, that is not us. Report it.

Questions
Yes, for everyone. We take no commission from the person renting and none from the person listing.
Because we only show flats a person has checked. We would rather show you ten real ones than a thousand you cannot trust.
Someone from our team stood inside that flat, took photos and checked the address. The date of the visit is on the listing.
Every listing says so plainly: allowed, not allowed, or ask the lister. It is the first thing we ask a lister to tell us.
If you added a recovery email, we send a code there. If not, message us on WhatsApp and we will check it is you.
Do not pay. Report the listing and tell us. Nobody real needs money to hold a flat.
