What we keep
Your phone number, your name, and a recovery email if you choose to add one. What you search for, what you save, and the messages you send inside the app.
Your number
Nobody sees your phone number unless you choose to share it in a conversation. It is not on your listing and it is not on your profile.
Why we keep it
To let you sign in, to show you your saved flats and messages, to tell you when a flat you asked for appears, and to keep fake listings out.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not give it to advertisers. We do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that help us run the service: our hosting, and the SMS and WhatsApp providers that deliver your codes. They may only use it to do that job.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. Delete your account and we remove your listings, your messages and your details.
What you can ask for
A copy of everything we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Ask through support and we will answer within thirty days.
Children
Shaqqah is for adults. We do not knowingly keep information about anyone under eighteen.
Draft wording. A Kuwaiti lawyer reviews this before launch.
